Gary D. James, Sr., Ministry Director/Main Facilitator

Gary is the Chief Executive Officer for Renewed Hearts, Inc. He also serves as our Main Facilitator, having over 25 years experience in the area of ministry - preaching, teaching, and singing. He has a strong passion to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is currently responsible for the development of mentoring programs, training, seminars and workshops.

Tanya R. James, Ministry Director/Visual Communications

Tanya is currently responsible for the development and design of the business identity, website and seminar presentations. She has experience in the area of computer operations, training, support, as well as Graphic Design and Web Development. Tanya currently works as a Desktop Publisher/Technical Illustrator for the Technical College System of Georgia.

Todde Y. Bliss, Sr., Multimedia/Health Consultant

Todde is responsible for the DVD/CD duplication, equipment upgrades/new purchases, and various other tasks on an ‘as-needed’ basis.  He has approximately 18 years experience working with Audio Visual equipment, having served as Director of Audio Visual Services for his church.  Todde currently works as a Home Health Nurse (I.V. Specialist) in Norcross GA.

Marsha Peters, Communications/Education Consultant

Marsha is responsible for the development of the monthly newsletter, 'The Heart Beat' as well as coordinating various other tasks. She is an Early Childhood and Elementary Education teacher with over ten years experience.  She successfully developed a home based educational routine teaching approximately 10 students of different grade levels. She and her husband previously served as the Family Life Directors at their local church.

Karla Bliss, Information and Research/Health Consultant

Karla is a Registered Nurse with over 19 years of experience.  She also has a unique ability to research information. She is a certified facilitator for the Family Dynamic’s, Dynamic Marriage Seminar.  At Renewed Hearts, Karla is responsible for researching current events and trends to keep the staff up to date with information and tools necessary to meet the needs of our clientele.

Derek Peters, Editing

Having been born on the island of Saint Helena, in the South Atlantic Ocean, Derek found reading to be a means of “escape” from his isolated surroundings. He is a  graduate of DeKalb Technical College. At Renewed Hearts, Derek is responsible for editing the newsletter. He and his wife previously served as the Family Life Directors at their local church.

Richard Watkins, Business Administrator

Richard is a recent graduate of Augusta State University. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. At Renewed Hearts, he is responsible for managing our professional business identity as well as maintaining our spiritual identity.

Kathy Watkins, Health Consultant/Resource Management

Kathy is a Registered Nurse. At Renewed Hearts, she is responsible for providing information on social resources (i.e. rent, medical, food, utilities assistance) that will be useful in helping families in need.
