He was born in a small town called Crestview, Florida and raised in Seattle, Washington. He is happily married and deeply in love with his wife, Tanya, of 22 years.  They have two sons, Gary II (20) and Trevon (16). They currently reside in the Metro Atlanta area.

He has a passion to teach simple truths that can reach every generation.  He desires to motivate people to develop a genuine relationship with God.  He firmly believes that God’s Word is the highest education that we should seek to obtain.  Whenever and wherever the Master calls, you will find him sharing the simple, practical and loving message of Jesus Christ.

In 2004, Gary and Tanya began their ministry, Renewed Hearts Incorporated, which has a focus on teaching individuals to be disciples of Jesus Christ. The mission and vision of Renewed Hearts is: “Building relationships by providing resources and direction, promoting strong families.” They desire to share their testimonies through what they have both experienced and lived through the power of the Almighty God.
